The Bulldog soccer team had their game with Social Circle postponed Tuesday, but in their previous game they weren't as lucky because they had to swallow a difficult 3-2 lost at Eastside.
"We had good possessions. We were just beat on counter attacks and defensive lapses," said Bulldog Head Coach Chip Meyer. "We played the way we needed to. We were just unlucky."
Sean Capel and Dylan Davis picked up a goal apiece in the loss. Capel also had an assist.
The team will look to bounce back at North Oconee on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the JV Dogs also lost a close one in their most recent game last Thursday in a 3-1 loss to North Oconee's JV Titans.
The team lost in the final three minutes of the game. Up to that point the score was knotted at 1-1.
Derrick Lane was responsible for the lone goal for the JV Dogs.
