“For every minute you are angry you lose 60 seconds of happiness”
The weather is so unpredictable and there is more bad weather to come. We are still in the winter months. Saturday was a nice day. On my way to Alyce’s house it tried to rain but it never came a shower. But one day it will rain. Looking over my Daily Planner I see that Easter comes March 23 this year.
I thank God for such a beautiful Sunday morning no better place to be than in the house of the Lord on this day that He has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it, thank you Lord.
Pastor T. came forward and was on fire for Jesus. Each Sunday the church is overflowing and we thank God for His children that are hungry for the Word and giving them a mind to come to the Springs where strangers meet friends and sinners meet Christ.
The ladies of the Springs lead the devotion every fourth Sunday and they are very spiritual filled ladies and on fire for Jesus from start to finish. Praise the Lord!
Pastor T.’s text came from the book of Hebrews 12th chapter first verse, "Don’t run out of control.”
The writer of Hebrews is unknown; all letters of Hebrews is by the Apostle Paul. The writer of Hebrews goes on to tell us just how much better Christ is that’s why we have got to run this race with patience on this journey; if you go to fast you’ll get tired and run out of control that is going back into the world doing sinful things especially our new converts. You can’t go from zero to a hero it takes time, prove to yourself that you can be patience and faithful on this journey. God wants someone who is faithful; when our faith is weak and low in life who can we get this faith from? We can get it from the one who has promised it. God can give it to anyone. We must keep our eyes on Jesus who is our leader and instructor and have faith. Here is a few that trusted God by faith; Noah trusted God by Faith; Abraham trusted God by Faith; Sarah trusted God; you have to be spiritual in faith to trust God. If you don’t have faith and trust God be patience, don’t run out of control. Stand still because God will do what He promise to do for you if you obey His commandments.
