Helen Miller, 69 of Madison, died Saturday, Feb.9, 2013. She had fought ovarian cancer for six years. She was the daughter of Farris and Lucille Wright Reece of Rome. She was born March 5, 1943. She was married to Ronald Miller on April 7, 1962. They lived much of their married life in Clayton County.
Mrs. Miller worked as production manager for Atlanta Felt until retiring and moving to Morgan County. She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church where she was very active. She also enjoyed working in her yard. She served as a volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse. Mrs. Miller loved her family and friends and was always quick to offer help to those in need.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband Ronnie Miller and their children Stephanie Danburg and Kevin of Villa Rica and Beth Grubbs and Tim of Cumming; two granddaughters Casey Wheeler and Nikki Resnick and a great grandson Liam Jones.
The family received friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Centennial Baptist Church. The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Interment was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens of Rome.
