Charlotte L. Owens, 72 of Covington, died February 10, 2013. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Owens. She is survived by her husband, Weyman Owens, Covington; sons, Ray Owens, Atlanta, Andy Owens, Atlanta; daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Jim Daniel, Madison, Ala; grandchildren, Christina and Allison Daniel, Amber Owens, Payton Owens, Brad Owens; five great-grandchildren; brother, Bennie Lindsay, Conyers. Mrs. Owens was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church.  Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 13 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Hannah Garrett-Johnson and Rev. Mike Morgan officiating; interment at Lawnwood was held at a later date.  The family received friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel.
