Reginia Thrash died February 5, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born September 30, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Daniel and Regina Shield. She was married to William Herbert Thrash who preceded her in death. She was retired from Putnam General Hospital. She was a member of Rutledge Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and reading. She will be remembered as a very giving friend and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Thrash is survived by her children Bill Thrash and Debbie and Sue Nelligan and Steve; grandchildren Jeremy Michael Thrash and Renea, Amanda Cheek and Jacob, Daniel Lewis Thrash and Lara, Joy Reinhardt and Aaron, April Rexroad, Dawn Nelligan, Melody Nelligan, John Nelligan and James Nelligan.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Feb. 6 at A. E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb 7 in the chapel. Interment followed at Pinegrove Cemetery in Eatonton.
