Tom Hudak

On the morning of Sunday, February 3th, Thomas Joseph Hudak passed away in his sleep– suddenly, unexpectedly, but peacefully. He was 66.
At his home in Madison, he leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Stephanie. Up the road in Bishop, his son Don, daughter-in-law Tiffany and his grandson Grant are also missing him dearly. In Ohio, he leaves not only his siblings Pat, Dee, Marge, Phil and Steve, but most of his extended family as well. To them and to the many of his sailing buddies, friends and probably a few enemies, he says…goodbye.
His two passions were reading books to young children at the Primary school and hangin’ around with his grandson Grant. In lieu of flowers, any donations to Morgan County Library (www.morgan.public.lib.ga.us) or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.org)… would make him really happy.
Tom wanted both his life and his death to be joyful. Instead of a traditional memorial service, sometime after the raw emotions have waned and the warmth of summer that Tom so enjoyed returns, we will have a party… and we’ll talk, reminisce and celebrate his life rather than mourn his death.
Thank you all for your sincere condolences and support.
