The search for the new Madison Police Chief is going well, according to City Manager David Nunn.
He shared details of the search during the city council’s recent work session.
He has interviewed between 12 and 14 applicants. Initial interviews will be done by the end of the year.
The second round of interviews with Nunn, Councilmen Whitey Hunt and Fred Perriman should produce a candidate sometime in January, he said.
