Thursday being Thanksgiving Sonny, Mary, Rebekah, Rachel and Zach Wood, Margie Ward, Julie and Billy Phillips went to Athens to the home of Alice Cheatham for Thanksgiving. Around 40 people were in attendance.
Sunday morning attendance was good. I think some were still having family get togethers for Thanksgiving. Hope to see them back soon. Thanks to the visitors that continue to come. It is good to have you with us. Hope you received a blessing and come anytime we have services. The choir’s special was, “His Name is Wonderful.” Another special was, “This is just what Heaven means to me,” by Adele Shiver. Bro. Ron’s message, “Thanks and Mercy”, Psalm 136. We give thanks because God is good, the goodness of God leads to repentances. He is God of gods, Lord of lords, He alone is great. He created the universe, light, sun, moon and stars, an act of His loving-kindness, His creation. He conquered Egypt, came to Israel’s rescue, no matter how big the battle, God is bigger. He comes to us in our sin, remembered us in low estate, and rescued us from our adversaries. God of heaven His love and mercy is everlasting. God is faithful to His word.
Sunday night at 6 p.m. a good attendance is all group. We were glad to have visitors, hope they received a blessing and will come back and be with us again. Special music was by the Who-so-ever Will group. Bro. Ron continued the message on the anti-Christ, Thess 2.

Things To Remember
Hope like a golden bell rings out from the heart of the Bible in the words of our Lord, who said, “Because I live, ye shall live also.”
The Gospel only and only the Gospel can save America, and the world.
Let’s quit asking Congress for help let’s start getting on our knees and asking God for help.
Nothing lies beyond the reach of prayer except that which lies outside the will of God.
“Christ’s limitless resources meet our endless needs.”
Be thankful for each day!
