Chris Howell
Chris Howell, of Rutledge, passed away at his home on Nov. 10, 2012, at the age of 31. Chris was a die-hard Tennessee football fan, and he loved cooking and hockey. He had a lighthearted and fun personality. As a child, Chris enjoyed playing baseball, football, golf, and he also enjoyed fishing with his grandparents in Tennessee.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Connie Howell of Rutledge; sister, Christina Hope Howell of Conyers; brother, Corey Alan Howell also of Rutledge; girlfriend, Sheila Angel of Watkinsville; and her grandchildren who called him “Paw Paw Chris,” Shelby, Sydney, Blaton, and Mikaela.
Funeral services for Chris were held Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Thomas Head officiating, and interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family received friends at the funeral home, Monday, Nov. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. Flowers were accepted or donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 72 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia, 30303.
