Teresa Doremus Green, 51 of Madison, died October 26, 2012. She was the daughter of the late William C. Doremus and Thelma Peters Doremus. Mrs. Green was born October 21, 1961 in Atlanta. She worked as a restaurant manager until her health prevented her from working any longer. She loved her family and entertaining friends and rarely missed a Braves game on television.
Mrs. Green is survived by her husband Richard Green and their two daughters, Melanie Alonzo and Tony and Tina Green. She is also survived by her mother Thelma Doremus and three grandchildren, Ian Alonzo, Zachary Alonzo and Nicholas Brown; a sister Debbie Green and two brothers, Bill Doremus and Doug Doremus.
The family received friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday at A. E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Interment followed at Madison City Cemetery.
