Calling all runners, joggers, fast walkers, moms with strollers! The Friends of Madison Firefighters is hostin’ its Annual Firefighter’ Fall 5K and 10.2K Saturday, Oct. 13! This year it’s really gonna be super special ‘cause all proceeds from the event will benefit the William B. Cochran, Jr. Vocational Scholarship and will also be used to promote fire safety! In case you didn’t know, Bill Cochran served 30 years with the Madison Fire Department and he consistently supported his community. The Madison Firefighters want to honor his legacy of spirit and devotion through this scholarship! So honey, if you’ve ever needed inspiration to run, walk or jog in a race, THIS IS IT!
