Katie Leann Hunnicutt and John Lynn Bachman Harris III were married August 11, 2012, at The Lighthouse in Tybee Island. Allen McCoy officiated.  Because the wedding was in Tybee Island a reception was followed at “Jimmy’s Pond” in Sparta on August 18, 2012.  The couple will leave for their honeymoon to Jamaica on September 29.
The bride is the daughter of Victor and Renee Knowles of Eatonton, Jesse Rogers of Eatonton, and Perry and Deborah Hunnicutt of Madison. She is a graduate of Putnam County High School in Eatonton.  The groom is the son of John Jr. and Sandy Harris of Sparta.  He is a graduate of John Hancock Academy in Sparta.
The bride wore her mother’s dress as she was escorted by her step-father, Jesse, and her two-year-old daughter, Emilee.  The couple will reside in Sparta with their two daughters, Emilee and Sophia.
