Y’all need to get your dancin’ shoes on and get ready to party Friday, Aug. 31 in Rutledge at 7 p.m. ‘cause the Rutledge Merchants Association is hostin’ a dinner concert in the city park! I can’t wait!  Your favorite restaurants The Caboose and Yesterday’s Café are gonna provide some fantastic food too! Tables are available with menus so that you can order your faves from both establishments! Now that’s what I call a Dream Supper! Honey all you’ve gotta do is bring your table linens and table décor but you won’t need china or utensils! Hey and the entertainment is gonna rock you into next week! I’m  takin’ none other than Liz and AJ Nance, a folk singin’ due that’s comin’ to Rutledge from  way up yonder in North Carolina!  So mark your calendars y’all and be there in Rutledge on August 31!

Zelicious! That’s right! Zaxby’s is fixin’ up breakfast every ding dang day y’all! I flat popped over to the Zaxby’s location at 1930 Eatonton Road in Madison to check it out and honey it’s super FANTASTIC! I’m talkin’ Chicken Finger Biscuit, Kickin’ Chicken Biscuit, Bacon, Zegg & Cheese Biscuit, Sausage, Zegg & Cheese Biscuit, Bacon Benedict Meal, Sausage Benedict Meal! And there’s MORE! Like fab sides such as Cheese Grits, Fruit and Taterz! YUM! Ok so the really, really creative items are flat TO-DIE-FOR! I’m talkin’ the Bacon Panzini and the Sausage Panzini! What? Yes! Get over there immediately! Oh and did I tell y’all ‘bout the Breakfast Bowl Meal with Bacon, Sausage, or Chicken Fingerz? Lord Have Mercy! Honey they even are servin’ up a Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit! I flat love that name! I think I’ll rename my cat Sugar Biscuit! Anyway, I met up with Assistant Manager Justin Walker of Buckhead and server and Madisonian Megan Gibbs and they are super excited ‘bout Zaxby’s new Zelicious Breakfast! Justin said ‘bout 350 people showed up last Saturday for their friends and family event! Zaxby’s launched the new breakfast menu on Monday! Breakfast at Zaxby’s is served from 6 a.m. ‘til 10:30 a.m.! I also ran into my good friend and Zaxby’s risk management director Debbie Andrews whom I worked with in the olden days at Avado Brands/Apple South! Anyhow Debbie says the company is only serving breakfast right now in Athens, Greensboro, Madison and Watkinsville, all of which are company-owned restaurants! There are more than 500 Zaxby’s locations in the U.S. so honey we are like the luckiest people on the planet! Yay!

Pullll! BANG! Dang it! Momma’s done missed again. BANG! What the? Momma you’re posed to aim at the ding dang skeet, not that ugly red-tailed squirrel! Lord have mercy Momma’s gonna kick up a ruckus next month at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center’s 12th Cultural Clays Tournament at Historic Burge Plantation in beautiful Mansfield! It all goes down on Saturday, September 15! Hey and the real fun begins at the Party After The Shoot at the home of Angie and Britt Moon in Madison with fab music, food, drinks, live auction and the awards ceremony! Y’all call the Cultural Center at 706-342-4743!

Yikes I almost forgot! Callin’ all Mothers! Callin’ all Mothers! Emily Buck wanted me to remind all y’all the Kids’ Consignment Sale is slated for September 6 through 8 at the Recreation Department Gym! If you’ve never gone to this sale honey you are flat CRAZY!
