William Ralph Armour Sr., 80, of Madison passed away Aug. 2, 2012. Mr. Armour was born in Jackson County to the late John Dee and Callie Jane Miller Armour. For 35 years Mr. Armour worked setting up machines at Enterprise Aluminum and Henry’s Fast Lube. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He enjoyed his grandchildren, Nascar, cutting grass and UGA football.

Mr. Armour is survived by his wife Lois Armour and children Shirley Almand, J. R. Armour and Rose Marie Luke and Richard, all of Madison; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother Frank Armour and Peggy. A great-grandchild Britney Bridges preceded him in death.
A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 in the Chapel of A. E. Carter Funeral Home.
