Amasa Mark Simpson, 42, of Madison died July 16, 2012. He was co-owner of Shear Elegance along with his wife Dawn Simpson. He was born March 10, 1970 in Cordele to David and Wanda Simpson. He was a veteran of the U.S.Navy serving during Desert Storm. He was loved by his family and his clients at his business. Simpson was an accomplished guitarist and artist. He loved his children and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Dawn and their children, Mitchell Zane Simpson, Amasa Morgan Alan Simpson and Rossie Mae Lou Simpson; his parents David and Wanda Simpson, his grandmother Betty Simpson and a brother Matthew Simpson; his mother-in-law Tina Rush and Ron and father-in-law Al Sharp and Joyce and a brother-in-law Alan Sharp.
A memorial service was held a 1 p.m. Saturday,  July 21 in the chapel of A. E. Carter Funeral Home.
