The porch fans are on but ain’t nobody home! Momma! Where in the Sam Hill are you? Y’all help me find her! Lord. Have. Mercy! Momma! What would the preacher say? Put that book down right smack NOW! Momma! Did you hear or are your ears plugged? Oh. My. Gosh! Momma’s havin’ heart palpitations! Call 911! Call 911! And, somebody get that sexy, sexy X-Rated Fifty Shades of Grey book and hand it over to me! Oh and don’t tell a soul Momma was readin’ it! Whoo Weee Dawg! Got me a beach book if there ever was one!
Now I don’t know ‘bout you, but it looks like we’ll have to cool off by SHOPPIN’! Perf! Let’s head over to Jefferson Square and see what’s goin’ on! First stop! Ben just got back from a buyin’ trip in Vegas and honey he’s brought back some Fantastic fashions! Right so Ben says when it comes to jewelry, Big and Bold is Back! Whidby has some fabulous resin bangle bracelets new from New York! Y’all they are to-die-for bangles in bright fun colors Red, Blue Turquoise, Black and more! Oh and Ben’s got another brand spankin’ new line called Mylo Designs that again are bold, big fashion rings, necklaces and earrings! I just love this new line! Hey and y’all Ben’s got tons and tons of new jewels he hasn’t even put out yet, plus more new lines are coming in along with rubies, diamonds, sapphires and colored gems! What! Southern Charms of Madison owned by Bob Wheeler and located right down from Whidby Jewelers is movin’ to Conyers! I’m flat cryin’ in my taffeta! For real! Well y’all Bob’s house is in Conyers and it’s just gonna be easier on him to live and work in the same place! Plus it’s only a short drive away so we can still get our fancy dance gowns from Bob for special occasions and for prom! But y’all need to head over to Bob’s movin’ sale! Ok so Beth has a brand new hair straightenin’ treatment which I will be tryin’ out as soon as possible! Also, Melissa Howe, the world’s expert manicure and pedicure specialist, has also brought in a new hair care line called Onesta which is a fantastic organic line! Y’all get straight, organic and get your nails done before you get to the beach!
Oh! And, J.K. Linen’s at 183 West Jefferson St., in Madison is flat poppin’ too! Honey not only do they have fab bed linens but store manager Crystal Taylor showed off their fantastic beach towels! Gotta get one! Or two! Oh and Crystal said they now offer monogrammin’! Oh and don’t forget their fun bath wraps! Honey every college girl needs one! Y’all get ready mark for country music singer-song writer John Berry at Perk Avenue in Madison on July 20! Y’all! He’s famous! I’m talkin’ he sells out the Classic Center and even is the host for the Christian Country Music Awards! Ok so the doors open at 6 p.m. for dinner and Perk Avenue’s special menu and the music starts at 8:30 p.m.! Tickets are $20 for the concert and honey they are takin’ ticket orders now! Oh before I go! The Humane Society of Morgan County is hostin’ its first anniversary this Saturday, July 14! The fun starts at 11 a.m. and this is gonna be fun for the whole family! Ok so there’s gonna be at least one goat there, dog trainin’ demonstrations, rescue dog demonstrations and more! Plus everyone can tour this fantastic enjoy refreshments and live music by Mark Durfield! I cannot wait! This event is a FANTASTIC way to spend the afternoon! Y’all bring the kids and let’s celebrate this great organization that has already helped 300 animals find homes in just its first year! Wow!
