Local Morgan County citizen Mitzi Everett is the new owner of The Spa at James Madison takin’ over the reins from Madisonian Rhonda Smith who sold her position in the spa!

I had to pop over there last week to get all the scoop! OK so Mitzi said she’s going to put her extensive service and spa background to work and plans to keep the spa’s existing menu and affordable prices in place! Plus the spa will continue to offer Aveda products! Mitzi also wants to really focus on the health and wellness benefits of spa therapies! Hummm . . . I’m thinkin’ I need some health benefits fast so sign me up! Oh and Mitzi is a licensed and trained massage therapist! In fact Mitzi has even taught anatomy and physiology for massage therapists! Check it out! The Spa is located behind the James Madison Inn next to Town 220 restaurant! Check it out y’all!
Hey and check out... Ding Dang Dong! Can you hear me now? That’s right y’all! Madison now has a full service and highly trained staff at a brand spankin’ new Verizon Store! Wow! I popped over there with cell phone expert and Citizen Circulation Manager Artrose Cooper yesterday to check it all out and then some! Honey, this Verizon store has tons of space and it’s flat filled with FANTASTIC PRODUCTS! I’m talkin’ smartphones, tablets, iPhones, iPads and all the phone and gadget accessories that you can possibly think of! Plus they offer service for their products! Madisonian and Verizon customer Jim Winkler said now that this store has opened he doesn’t have to go all the way to Athens anymore for phones or service! Jim also flat loves the staff at this new store: “They’re highly trained. First class!” Right so we also met up with Nicole Jordan of Madison who works in the new store with General Manager Chuck Pettyjohn! Nicole says: “We do everything and will even come to your house to set up internet service!”
