William (Bill) Henry Jago Jr. born January 15, 1929 in Madison died June 4, 2012 in Ocala, Fla. Prior to coming to Ocala in 2006 he lived in Madison, Macon, Thomson and Lakeland, Florida. He spent 21 years as the bookstore manager at Florida Southern College, Lakeland.
He is survived by his wife Harriet (Doll) Forehand Jago of Ocala; his daughters Ann (Todd) Maurer of Dunwoody and Elizabeth (James) Miller of Ocala, Florida; his grandchildren Jason and Matthew Maurer and Annabeth and Hallie Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents Antoinette Baldwin Jago and William Henry Jago Sr. of Madison.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9 in the Family Life Center of First United Methodist Church, Ocala, Florida and at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 10 in Annie Pfeiffer Chapel at Florida Southern College, Lakeland, Fla.
Memorials may be given in his name to Florida Southern College Scholarship Fund, Hospice of Marion County or First United Methodist Church of Ocala’s Tuesday Morning Ministry.
