•ऀOn May 6 a structure fire was reported at a Price Mill Road, Bishop location after a woman reported that she was awakened by her dogs at 1:30 a.m. and she observed large flames in the area of the kitchen. The woman said she gathered her dogs and other items and fled the house and waited for emergency responders. The woman said at 11:45 p.m. she had placed some tea on a pot on the stove to boil and had fallen asleep. She said she believes this incident may have started the fire. Three fire fighting departments responded, reports state, and extinguished the fire. Reports state that there was extensive fire, smoke and water damage to the kitchen, living room and hallway areas of the residence.
•ऀOn April 30 a burglary complaint was filed at a Mergendollar Road, Bostwick location after a woman reported that on April 19 she noticed someone had taken silver-plated forks and knives and costume jewelry. She said she also realized that old farm tractor parts and cotton picking machinery had been taken from a pasture near the residence. She also said every room in the house had been ransacked.
•ऀOn April 30 a domestic dispute complaint was filed at a Bonner Lane, Buckhead, location after a woman alleged that her husband had threatened to shatter the window of her vehicle while looking for a missing cell phone. The husband alleged that his wife had taken the cell phone and placed it in her car. He also alleged that she approached him with a broom stick.
•ऀOn May 2 a burglary complaint was filed at a Woodkraft Road location after a woman reported someone had taken several tools from a storage trailer. The woman said 10 catalytic converters, several radiators, an impact air wrench, a commercial gas can, 500 pounds of cable and a box full of wrenches were taken.
•ऀOn May 3 a criminal trespass and disorderly conduct complaint was filed at a Newborn Road, Rutledge, location after a man reported that someone had cut his truck tire following an argument with his wife. The man said that he and his wife had attended a school concert and that the couple had argued at the concert. The man said he left the concert to calm things down and on the way home the fight escalated again. The man said he then exited the vehicle and called his brother to pick him up. The man said he then had the brother drive him to his house to pick up his truck and as he tried to leave he noticed a tire had been cut. The wife told authorities that the man had accused her of cutting his tire and that he had threatened her with a knife. Authorities could not locate a knife at the scene and reported that the wife appeared to be under the influence of either alcohol or drugs. The man told authorities he would stay with a brother for the evening.
•ऀOn April 30 a theft by taking, burglary and criminal damage to property complaint was filed at a Antioch Church Road location after a woman reported that someone had entered the residence and removed $300, a $270 payroll check and assorted jewelry valued at more than $2,000. A 42” plasma television set was sitting under a window of the master bedroom with the glass shattered.
•ऀOn April 27 a theft by taking complaint was filed at a Brownwood Road location after a woman reported that someone had taken a Scotts riding lawnmower, a grinder, a leaf blower, a folding table, rail road bell jack, a tool box and a table top vise.
•ऀOn April 28 a theft by taking complaint was filed at a Bostwick Road location after a woman alleged that her boyfriend had taken her 2004 Hyundai Sonata without her permission. According to reports, the woman said she left the residence to go shopping and that her brother observed the boy friend pick up a set of keys to the vehicle. The brother told the boyfriend not to take the car because he did not have a driver’s license. The woman reported that she had been contacted by Greene County authorities because the vehicle had been wrecked on Interstate 20 in Greene County and the boyfriend had been arrested.

•ऀOn April 19 a damage to property complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road location after a man reported that someone attempted to break-in and steal his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado while it was parked at a motel. The man reported that the driver’s side door lock was damaged and that the ignition was damaged. Nothing was reported stolen from the vehicle.
•ऀOn April 20 a larceny complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road location after a man reported that someone had taken several tools from a truck. The complainant reported that an Ingersoll Rand impact tool, a pneumatic bottle jack and pneumatic socket tool were taken.
•ऀOn May 1 a burglary complaint was filed  at a Penor Street location after a man reported that someone had taken a Phillips 46” television, a Sony Playstation and a video game from his residence. There was no sign of forced entry at the location and a window off the front porch was open.
•ऀOn April 26 a larceny of government property complaint was filed at the city of Madison Fire Department after a man reported that three Motorola hand-held radios were stolen. The complainant said the radios were valued at $700 each.
