Momma says y’all quiet down ‘cause we’ve got lots of Biz Buzz to cover and no time for foolishness! I’m talkin’ there’s lots of movin’ and groovin’ goin’ on all over Morgan County! Let’s get to it!
Antique Sweets has flat moved to Main Street y’all! OK so they’re now located at 127 South Main Street in downtown Madison in the former Godfrey Cox building! Honey the entire Alligood family worked themselves to the bone all day Sunday to get the shop moved! Of course I popped over there just smack in time to see the new space and it’s BEAUTIFUL! OK so it looks very similar to the old set-up, only the space is larger and brighter! Get your bow honkers over there just as fast as you can! Hey and check out the new signage on the front doors which was done by none other than Brown Art Signs of Madison! Steve Brown was there Sunday puttin’ them on the doors just flat perfectly! Ok so if y’all have some signage needs just give Steve a call at (706) 342-2985 and he’ll flat fix you up!
LilyBeth’s General Store & Home Décor has moved from its location behind the Caboose in Rutledge to 106 West Main Street in Rutledge! Right! So they’re now located right smack across from the beautiful Rutledge City Park! I popped over there yesterday and had a great time checking out the expanded space and also had to buy one of the fab indoor-outdoor pillows and a brand new candle that is flat out-of-this-world fabulous!  Owner Joellen Artz wants all y’all to come on over to Rutledge and visit her great new location! Oh and she’s now sellin’ fabulous braided rugs in all sizes and has some really cute antique signs and more! Get over there immediately!
Cut to the Chase! Julie Speyer owner of Pure Bliss Spa & Shop located at 131 West Jefferson St. in downtown Madison has added a brand spankin’ new service! Tabby Moon is now offering hair styling services at Pure Bliss! Y’all get over there immediately and get that hair cut, colored, styled and honey treat yourself to a night on the town! Yes! Yes! Yes! Now that’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout! Y’all call Pure Bliss for your facial, massage . . . and now hair stylin’ needs at (706) 342-2242! Yay!
Ding dang! Le Petit Jardin and Chris Cook’s Madison Studios Web design company have teamed up to grow garden sales online! That’s right y’all! The Spa at the James Madison is celebratin’ Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a big, big way! Breast cancer survivors are invited to come out on Tuesday, Oct. 18 for a complimentary 30-minute service (facial, massage, manicure, pedicure or hair cut) from 10 a.m. til 5 p.m. Also, on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 5 p.m. til 8 p.m. everyone needs to come out for Girls Night Out! There’s gonna be a lot of breast cancer awareness activities, free bone density testing by Morgan Memorial Hospital, free hand massages and reflexology, a chance to meet Dr. Erin Mayfield, door prizes, refreshments and more! Be there!
