WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. Mamma! I’ve got me a great big ole hankerin’ for pizza! I just gotta have a slice right smack this minute! What do you mean I can’t be seen out in public with the outfit I’m wearin’! It was my fave disco dress from the 1980s! Well ding dang it! I reckon I’ll have to make my own pizza at home! We’ll start with the dough! Wow! Yikes! I’ve made a big mess and this daffy dough won’t stretch across the pizza pan! Well Shhhhhasta! Put it in the oven and let’s see what happens. Ding! Ok get the oven mitts on and get that pizza. Ok . . . here goes! Yuck Yuck Pooy Pooy! This is flat out bad to the bone! I’m talkin’ Ellie Mae Clampett! Well I’ve had it once and for all! Let’s get our bow honkers on over to Amici Italian Café located at 113 South Main Street in downtown Madison!
Mama Mia! It’s so ding dang hot the Devil’s wearin’ hot pants! What the? This Amici’s menu is flat new! Now y’all don’t blow a gasket! Honey all your faves are still on the menu, but there are a few new items that will (read this in your Italian accent) Makea Youa Happy!  First up are the Signature Pie Breads! Ok so it’s sort of like pizza, but it’s not! Here’s what I mean: The signature Pie Breads are Seared Ahi Tuna with sundried tomatoes, olives, house vinaigrette on a bead of arugula drizzled with lemon aioli! Yum! Another is the Caprese with tomato, fresh basil, red onion, feta on a bead of arugula with house vinaigrette and the Muffalotta with baked ham, Genoa salami and olive relish or the Traditional Pie Bread served with homemade marinara. Lord have mercy! Hey! And, they now have a new sandwich called the Buff Chicken Bleu with Bleu cheese crumbles, Amici’s award winning hot sauce, aged provolone with a side of bleu cheese dressing! And, ding dang! They now have two new pastas: Spaghetti with Prosciutto and Spaghetti with Spicy Shrimp! And, don’t forget their Award Winnin’ Pizza! I’ve got a cravin’ for Summer In Turin! Delish! Let’s go surfin’ now everybody’s learnin’ how! I ain’t talkin’ ‘bout surfin’ at the beach! Honey! Madison’s website went from drab to FAB! Check it out immediately by visitin’ www.madisonga.com! That’s right y’all! The City of Madison has a new to-die-for website! It’s absolutely the coolest! I mean from the graphic design to the user friendly applications! First up it has detailed information for all City of Madison services and then some with descriptions of each department and general and online contact info! Next the site has a host of Online Services! I’m talkin’ you can get your garage sale permit, contact city officials, look for a business, look for a job, post a job, read agendas and minutes from public meetings, read city news, sign up for emerengy messages, sign up for police vacation checks while you’re out of town and more! Whew! The best part is that you can also pay your City of Madison utility bill online! Ding dang y’all! We’re uptown now! The Your Government section has everything you need to know about public meetings, government officials and City of Madison schedules. Honey it even has all Municipal Codes & Regulations! I’m talkin’ the comprehensive city plan, subdivision regulations and zonin’ ordinances! But, my fave part is the Madison Main Street section! It highlights all of our fantastic dining, shopping and attraction destinations with pictures, descriptions and links to Facebook pages and websites! It also has a calendar of events happening in Madison! Honey the downtown business directory is listed too and much, much more! Y’all check it all out! You’re gonna love it!
