Coleman – Jackson are married

Ann Leighton Coleman and Patrick Lawton Jackson were married on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville, SC. The Rev. Harrison Marvin McLeod officiated. A reception followed at the Poinsett Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thomas Coleman III of Greenville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Henry Causey Barton, Junior of Columbia, SC and the late Rev. Barton and the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert Thomas Coleman, junior of Spartanburg.
She is a 2008 graduate of Presbyterian College and will receive a Master’s of Education degree in Gifted Education from Converse College in July, 2011. She has been employed with Greenville County Schools.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Parker Jackson of Madison. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Sandlin Jackson of Richmond, VA and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Chapman Lawton of Madison.
He is a 2008 graduate of Presbyterian College and is employed by United Controls International in Atlanta.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Katherine Guthrie Cook was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mallie Littlejohn DiBiase, Emily Taylor Douglas, Mallory Elise Gilbert, Amanda Hall Graves, Keeke Patricia Hartis, Lacey Taylor Morrison, Sarah Simons Team, and Kathryn Mangum Weeks. Program attendants were Lila Coker Weston and Virginia Slater Weston.
Hoyt Parker Jackson and Parker Chapman Jackson, father and brother of the groom, were best men. Groomsmen were Robert Thomas Coleman IV, Joseph Carson Davis, Guy Smith Dooley IV, Rufus Thornwell Dunlap V, Benjamin Tupper Garden, Christopher Brennen Gerards, David James Overton, and Lt. James Cory Wynn (in absentia).
Ushers were Charles Allan Crowley IV, Daniel Frank Fierman and Phillip Shane Neugebauer.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Atlanta.
